| Richard began his professional musical career in Macon, Georgia in 1978. He signed a recording contract with CBS records in 1986 and in 1988 released a record with the rock group China Sky. The album was an international release meeting with success in the European and Asian markets. China Sky still boasts a strong following in Europe today with the rekindling of 80's rock nostalgia. The group is currently in negotiations regarding a new album of previously unreleased material. Since the early 90's he has been providing musical entertainment for top resorts throughout the southeast including the Casa Monica Hotal, the Ritz-Carlton, Adamsmark, Marriot Sawgrass, Hilton, Peabody Orlando, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and Ponte Vedra Lodge to name a few. Richard has performed private corporate events for hundreds of companies ranging from Ford Motor Company and Merrill Lynch to local and regional Florida companies. |
